Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: Channel crossing with your own car,
drive to your hotel in Chantilly for a
welcome drink. intimate 3 course dinner at
“La Stradivarius”, renowned for its cuisine.
Day 2: Visit to Chantilly Castle and
Château's art gallery which houses the
Musée Condé, one of the finest collections
of historical paintings in France Walk around the gardens and water features
of the park. Explore the Musee Vivant du
Cheval a private museum that displays
various breeds of horses and ponies in
addition to occasional riding exhibitions.
Day 3: Drive to Senlis to view the
picturesque medieval walled town and large
Gothic cathedral. Drive on to Chaalis Abbey,
a Cistercian abbey north of Paris, at
Fontaine-Chaalis and the former monks'
cemetery which is now home to a famous
rose garden.
Day 4: Breakfast and return
journey.
Optional extra day: After breakfast,
continue towards the southwest of Chantilly
to Royaumont Abbey, a fantastic Cistercian
abbey, located near by in the Val-d'Oise |
