Vienna presents many choices to short break visitors so it's advisable to plan your evenings, maximising your entertainment. With a strong musical heritage and home to the late Mozart, it's not suprisingly that theatres and opera houses line Vienna's streets. The most famous is undoubtedly the extraordinary Vienna State Opera which is a must-see on a trip to Vienna. For something a little more low-key, head to one of Vienna's fantastic live music lounges and experience a taste of the local talent, whether it's jazz, swing, rock or blues that takes you fancy.
For the lively at heart, continue the night in one of Vienna's many cocktail bars, discos and pubs. The city is renowned for its electronic music scene and there are multitude of clubs to keep even the most avid party lover happy. Head for the Bermuda Triangle for the best music, drinks and company that the city has to offer. Located across three overlapping streets in the centre of town, this is the place to be at a weekend.
